Clarity is a website designed to help people make financial and legal plans so they are prepared for a time in life when they may need help. Clarity was first developed for people with memory difficulties, but has evolved to become a resource for anyone who may need help managing daily finances at some point in life.
DCA Medical-Legal Partnership Network
Within Dementia Care Aware, the Medical-Legal Partnership Network (MLP Network) has partnered with legal aid organizations and health care systems across California. The MLP Network has developed trainings for primary care teams on common legal issues that affect people with cognitive impairment.

Free Legal Help - State Bar of California
The California State Bar’s Certified Lawyer Referral Services (LRS) are designed to help people find legal assistance. If a lawyer is needed, where available, they can refer to an attorney who handles that type of legal issue. The lawyers referred to will offer an initial consultation for a reduced fee or no fee.

Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP)
HICAP (the Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) provides free and objective information and counseling about Medicare. Volunteer counselors can help you understand your specific rights and health care options. HICAP also offers free educational presentations to groups of Medicare beneficiaries, their families and/or providers on a variety of Medicare and other health insurance related topics.

It includes the option to save, print and/or email responses for future reference as well as change or update responses over time.
