Why Take the Cognitive Health Assessment (CHA) Training?

Californians who live to be 65 or older have a one in five chance of developing dementia. When someone has dementia, it impacts their whole life: their health, their financial security, their quality of life, and the wellbeing of their care partners.

If we detect earlier, we can also intervene to slow progression of dementia and help people have a higher quality of life. By taking the Cognitive Health Assessment training, you will learn how to screen for dementia and make earlier detection possible.
